ENERGYWISE: IOT-ENABLE SMART FAN CONTROL SYSTEM

Abstract

This research study introduces EnergyWise, an innovative IoT-enabled smart fan control system designed to address the limitations of traditional electric fans and optimize energy efficiency while enhancing user comfort. Traditional fans suffer from inefficient energy consumption due to fixed-speed settings and lack of adaptability to changing environmental conditions, leading to suboptimal comfort levels and limited control options.

EnergyWise tackles these challenges by integrating real-time data monitoring through sensors, automated algorithms for fan control, and a user-friendly mobile app for remote control and scheduling. The system also monitors energy consumption patterns, providing users with insights for optimizing energy savings.

A 5-point Likert scale survey reveals a high level of user satisfaction with EnergyWise, with an overall weighted mean score of 4.241, categorized as "Excellent." This stusdy demonstrates the potential of EnergyWise to revolutionize home comfort and energy management, promoting sustainable living and working environment.
