ANDROID BASED FACIAL SKIN DISEASE DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS

Abstract

This study entitled Android Based Facial Skin Detection and Diagnosis is an Android application that detects and diagnoses facial skin diseases. It allows you to scan or upload images to detect facial skin disease. If detected, the application will show results and show diagnosis. It aims to provide an innovative solution to facial skin detection and properly diagnose the results. The application checks the input image and checks if a facial skin disease is present based on the model trained. The Agile methodology was used as a flexible methodology that can produce results incrementally enabling a workflow that is adaptable to changes in requirements and schedule in order to create a user- friendly and functioning application. Tests and evaluations prove that the application is capable of detecting facial skin disease. The application was also proven to be comparable with other facial skin disease models without much significant difference. The application was approved by physicians beneficial for patients and also general and practicing physicians thus proving that this study is a good innovation of technology
