TESTSYNC: SAINT COLUMBAN COLLEGE SUBJECT QUESTION CRAFTING SYSTEM

Abstract

TestSync is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) integrated with Learning Management System 
(LMS) leveraging OpenAI's capabilities to address the challenges, offering a user-friendly platform 
for efficient question creation and improving both teacher productivity and student learning 
outcomes. This initiative underscores the potential of technology to reshape educational 
practices by enhancing quality and accessibility at Saint Columban College. TestSync aims to 
alleviate the challenges faced by teachers in designing effective tests, ensuring they are both 
comprehensive and fair. The system also provides teachers with an efficient tool for generating 
questions that cater to various levels of student understanding, while maintaining consistency 
and accuracy in assessment practices, ultimately enhancing the quality of education and 
improving student learning outcomes. The system was developed based on the agile 
methodology that should ideally benefit the process of building the project through the ability to 
consider changes in requirements with frequent iterations. Short development cycles make it 
possible for team members to iterate refinements in features, based on user feedback, in 
meeting the needs of teachers and students.
